Kiss or slap, settled by the wheel instead of an argument

Kiss or slap is the sort of game that only works if nobody gets to choose the outcome. The second someone picks for themselves, the whole thing collapses into negotiation. Handing it to a spinner fixes that: eight slices, half kiss, half slap, and the pointer decides in three seconds flat. Spinwheely keeps the wheel plain and loud so it works on a phone being passed round a room where people are talking over each other.

Open the page and it's already set up — spin straight away, or clear the list and write your own outcomes first.

Play it in a circle, one spin per turn

The simplest version: sit in a circle, spin on your turn, and act out the result with the person on your left. Fixed direction beats free choice, because free choice means one unlucky person catches every round. If your group wants the target randomised as well, spin the wheel of names first and this wheel second.

Set the ground rules before the first spin, not halfway through. A slap is a tap. A kiss is on the cheek. Anyone can pass, and passing isn't a story. Games that agree this up front run for an hour; ones that don't end in ten minutes.

Rewrite the wheel to fit your group

The two default options are only a starting point. Mixed-age groups usually swap slap for something harmless — hug, high five, compliment, silly voice — and keep the same spin-and-obey structure. Add a "spin again" slice if you want the occasional reprieve, or a wildcard slice that means the room invents the forfeit on the spot.

Because the odds follow the slice count, weighting is transparent. Want slaps rare? Put one slap against seven kisses. Everybody can count the wheel, so nobody can accuse you of rigging it.

Where the result comes from

Every spin draws from crypto.getRandomValues() in your own browser, and the animation is rendered to finish on whichever slice that number chose. There's no pattern to learn and no server involved. Three slaps in a row will happen at some point in an evening — that's what real randomness looks like, not a fault.

Other Spinwheely wheels for game night

For a longer party game, the truth or dare wheel carries the same energy across more rounds. For quick either/or calls use the yes or no wheel or the coin flip, and the main spin the wheel tool turns any list you paste into a wheel. All free, all no signup.
